| Conscious & Connected
My work is with organizations and communities that want to make something new possible. It has been become clear to us who do this work that new possibilities emerge from new conversations. This work is about inviting people into new conversations, energized and organized by new questions.
Many of the questions that work in old landscapes will not work in new landscapes. Questions we use to navigate on land do not work on water. Questions that supported agrarian age success will not support success in an information age. People cannot rely on old questions to help them move forward. New landscapes require whole new sets of questions.
This work is about providing the questions people need to move forward to new possibilities.
Becoming more conscious is the conversation about possibilities, strengths, assets, and what does exist rather than conversations about problems, deficiencies, weaknesses, and what doesn't exist.
Becoming more connected is the conversation about sharing resources, opportunities, ideas, knowledge, skills, projects, connections, and possibilities. It is increasing the asset, positional, generative, and social value in our interactions together. It is knowing that we're smarter and more adaptable together than we are apart. It is the work of creating openness, and foresight, and trustworthiness.
When we begin to understand that it's all about the relationships, the qualities of our connections, our organizations, communities, and leaders become more alive and sustainable than ever.
